This monthly report for May 2022 covers all new developments on chrisbocay.com, such as new and revised articles, book reviews, Google rankings, etc.
May 2022 went very well here at chrisbocay.com.
I produced four new posts, including one blog post, two articles, and one book review. In addition to that I also substantially revised an old blog post, and produced the Report post for March 2022.
All in all, this number of posts is significantly less than in February (sixteen new posts), March (fifteen new posts), and April (nine new posts).
At first glance, my productivity seemingly was dropping in May, judged by the number of posts that I managed to publish. But there is more to the story. For even though the quantity of articles was substantially lower, the quality was higher.
In addition to that, I have also been busy with lots of “behind-the-scenes” work: acquiring new books and encyclopedias for future posts; planning new content; revising old articles so that they adhere to my new design standards; as well as developing a new in-house system for how to gradually optimize Google rankings.
All in all, I am very happy with my achievements in May. And I hope that you are too, if you are regularly reading my published posts.

MY 3 BEST POSTS THIS MONTH
My three best posts this month, in my own view, are the following.
Starting from the end (at position number 3) is the new blog post about nine excellent ways to boost one’s positivity and happiness. Although less academic in nature, I really think that this post can help many people to increase their positivity and happiness.
At position number 2, we have my new article about what self-acceptance amounts to, and how it is defined. It takes a look at the various scholarly definitions of the word “self-acceptance” as found in the psychological literature and also consults various standard English dictionaries. I am pleased with this article because I really think it defines the idea of “self-acceptance” in a better way than previously has been done in the any of the referenced sources that I have investigated.
At position number 1, we have my long article on the four ways of deliberate manifestation with the Law of Attraction. This is a really nice article because it outlines (unlike any of the other “definitive guides” to Law of Attraction that I have seen), with the help of colorful illustrations, what the scope of deliberate creation really is: that it is not just about the appearance of things, but just as much about the non-appearance of things.

New Static Pages
One new static page was introduced in May, a page on how to master the Law of Attraction.
This new page is a “Theme” page, meaning that it only contains links to other pages which are relevant to a given theme, in this case the Law of Attraction:

This new page can be reached from two different places. One place is from from the leftmost column on the home page, where the six main themes are introduced to new visitors:

Another place to reach the “Master the Law of Attraction” theme page is from the menu called “Themes”, on the top menu bar, which is accessible from any page:

Updated/Revised Static Pages

SEARCH ENGINE RANKINGS
To be ranking high on the main search engines is not an easy task in 2022. Therefore, I have devoted much time to understanding exactly how this should be done.
So I now have a relatively good idea of how to increase my rankings, and thereby gain more viewers.
As a result of my conscious effort to rank higher, I can therefore now present three nice results.
The first result is from Bing, where I searched for the phrase “review ‘self-esteem bible’ lindenfield”:

As you can see in the screenshot above, I managed to get my own link before both goodreads.com and amazon.com, which I think is an achievement.
And it is of course also nice to see that Bing is using a snippet view for my search result, so that they are displaying many more words than in the other search results.
In the next example I am using Google, where I searched for the phrase “why reach for more self-love”:

As you can see, I did not make it all the way to the top. But I think position 2 is rather nice, anyway.
Another good thing is that the post that is listed is a rather new one. I wrote Why Reach for More Self-Love approximately two months ago, and it is already ranked this high. So I think that is worth celebrating.
The next ranking result also comes from Google. Here I was searching for the phrase “review ‘boost your self-esteem’ wilding”:

As seen above, Google placed my book review as the top result on the first search results page, before both goodreads.com and amazon.com (again!).
This is very nice, especially since that book review is less than three weeks old. Another reason to celebrate!
